A team of awesome people trying to make campus healthier one cool event at a time.

The Health Education Office was established in 2002 and commissioned with the task to Engage, Educate, and  Empower students on how to make wise choices when it comes to alcohol & tobacco use, healthy relationships & eating.

Peer Health is managed by Ismael Torres, UNK Counseling & Health Care’s Multimedia Specialist and a team of student volunteers who are excited about making a difference on campus.

Today the Health Education office is more dedicated than ever in pushing the University of Nebraska Kearney to become the healthiest campus in the state. Through grant funding, the UNK Health Education office is able to provide FUN alternative late night activities, educational presentations, and a number of programs to the UNK student body.
